Sharp’s New UV2A Technology To Boost LCD HDTV Performance

Sharp has a lot more going for it than just a new line of LED HDTVs, they are also generating buzz over their new UV2A screen technology.  This new technology will work to help produce darker blacks.  There will be some additional gains with regards to improving contrast ratio, response time, and energy consumption.

While they are planning on starting production in October, it may be until 2010 until HDTVs with this technology make their way to the US of A.
