Walmart Offers HDTV Installation Service To Customers

In a move to combat Best Buy and their Geek Squad service offerings, Walmart has teamed up with N.E.W to help customers who need help installing their televisions.

According to a Reuters article:

Shoppers can buy service plans on a prepaid card ranging from $99 to $339. The service spans help with basic television installation on the low end to setting up a home theater, wireless router network or a home office computer network.

The service includes a preliminary consultation and a tutorial after installation is completed.

With this and other moves the retailer has been making it is pitting itself against the Best Buy, HHGregg’s, and other Consumer Electronics stores in a bid to win over more customer dollars.

Find Upcoming Deals From Best Buy From 10/25 Through 10/31

The 10/25 Best Buy ad scan is now available for you to go and check out.  There are lots of great deals when it comes to televisions and television accessories.

The biggest deal by far is with the Dynex 40 inch LCD HDTV.  It usually retails for $599 but from 10/25 through 10/31 you’ll be able to pick one up for $499.

I’m not sure I’d go so far as to say this is the best HDTV deal of the year, but it’s pretty darn close.  Black Friday is going to have to come strong because the deals out now are looking pretty good already.
